In the meantime it's already more than 15 years since Finnjet has been scrapped. However, there are still many fans of this unique ship worldwide and the fascination of her power and speed has not changed at all.
To bear in remembrance of this masterpiece I started some years ago (during the pandemic) to create a huge display model made out of Lego-bricks.
In the last few weeks I have finalized the project and decided to submit it to Lego as an official idea. In the meantime Lego has approved my idea and it has been released to be supported.

During a short trip to northern Germany I made a detour to Travemünde.
Together with my fellow board member Jan Moerchen I visited the "Fotohaus Pamperin" which is located directly in the "Vorderreihe" next to the port entrance. There are plenty of beautiful photos dated from the time GTS Finnjet...

Lähettelin jo yksityisesti viestejä kehuakseni vuorotellen kerhoamme hienosti edustaneita ihmisiä. Kohta saan aikaa tehdä uusia juttuja Jetistä.

Vuosittainen Finnjet risteily on taas pidetty ,hauskaa oli nähdä vanhoja ja uusia kasvoja. Olisin mielelläni nähnyt myös hieman enemmän, tosin olihan meitä yli 60 mukana joten ei silläkään ryhmällä ikävää ollut, nauru raikui Baltic Princessin käytävillä ja baareissa.
